Another CTE success story

Stanton Academy students, Stephanie Salazar, Letcia Mendoza and Yasmin Cruz placed 3rd in the Nation in Fashion Design at TSA (Technology Student Association) National Competition, June 20-25, 2012.

The girls were encouraged and helped by their teacher, Holli Wolcott. They researched the Renascence era which they were interested in and then designed and sewed the dresses themselves, without any prior sewing experience!

As the pictures show, they did an excellent job. Third place in a National competition is an achievement to be extremely proud of!!
