Franklin’s Annual TSA Legislation Visit

On February 15, 2017, students and TSA Advisors traveled to Olympia to meet with local legislators and tour the Governor’s Mansion.  This is the fifth year students have taken part in advocating for their CTE programs and thanking their legislators for their continued support.  The legislators were Senator Curtis King, Representatives Norm Johnson and Gina McCabe.  Students shared information about CTE classes and TSA competitions.  Our legislators shared information about transportation, education, and invited students to be a page for a week.

Others attending were Anders Norman, Ethan Cate, Dominic Christensen, Nathan Johnson, Julia Johnson, John Cavanaugh, and Vicki Dwight.
