Mid-Columbia Regional Science Fair Results

On Thursday March 9, 2017, eleven students from Eisenhower presented projects at the Mid-Columbia Regional Science Fair. Of those eleven, five students received the following special recognition.

  • Kayli Carl:  American Meteorological Society Certificate of Outstanding Achievement
  • Cassidy Long:  Sigmi Xi, Tri-City Chapter Best Use of Scientific Method Award
  • Rodrigo Gutierrez:  Audubon Society, Lower Columbia Basin Outstanding Project Enhancing the Avian Environment
  • Kiley Fredricks:  Stockholm Junior Water Prize, Regional Water Prize Award and Invitation to State Competition
  • Nathan Yee:  Honorable Mention, Senior Division

Nathan Yee also received the GENIUS Olympiad Exceptional Genius Award and an invitation to submit project for the GENIUS Olympiad National Competition

The IKE students received lots of positive feedback from the event judges and the fair director about the quality of the work they produced.
