In December, the Technology Foundations teacher, Jeremy Wuitschick, was contacted by Ryan Clark, CEO of Liberty Bottle Works in Union Gap. He wanted to send over an STL file and asked if the students would create the 3D-Print prototypes for lids to their new water bottle design. LC CTE students helped to print and did all of the post processing work (remove support material, remove raft, sand off plastic flash, and smoothing) on these prototypes.

Liberty produces recycled aluminum water bottles for a nation-wide market. Mr. Clark will use these prototypes to pitch the $1.8 million project to the Liberty Board of Directors. and it all started with LC CTE kids creating prototypes that will be used in industry!
